PURPOSE OF THE SITE AND SORT OF ART INCLUDED IN IT:

I am an appreciator of fine art in all media (principally martial art- where I can find it). I select the best of the best works from this site to fill my Favourites Gallery, leading to many excruciating choices and exclusively Spectacular works. I have selected from many tens of thousands of pieces to form the Favourites Gallery, count was lost at sixty thousand.

Photographic works usually seem the best on this site. Most other media contribute relatively rarely, but when they do they are superb. Please note that I do not check written works, flash animations or comics, as this takes far to much time for me. I don't mind what the subject is for a given work as long as the work is high quality, and not using it's art label as an excuse for porn etc.

JOURNAL ENTRY: 22/March/2009

So it seems the site is still here, and over a thousand more people have seen my little page since I last logged on (0.o)! I'm still coming back; still furiously intermittent; still checking out over a thousand works at a time. Glad to see quality is still high here- and just *look* at all the new gadgets and nick-nacks! Looks like fun, but who knows when/if I'll be back again... Life has been grabbing me by the worky bits and throwing me all over the place for some time now. I'm sure God knows what He is doing, but it often seems inscrutable and super-difficult to me . Guess it'll all turn out for the best someday . Hope everyone reading this still stays firmly involved in Art and sharing the passion like crazy! I've been missing this place. Well see you around... glad to have seen what's happening and enjoyed more of your great art B) Bye for now!
